There once was a musician named Pete,
who really liked to stick to the beat,
he strummed his guitar,
and thought himself a star,
and all the while had smelly feet.

Could try Mongolia. Been there, the museum of natural history in Ulaan Baatar is worth a look - MASSIVE dinosaur bones from the Gobi Desert. The high hills out in the countryside are very challenging to climb. The silence is deafening. The Black Market is a real marketplace with pickpockets and all. It is really somewhere different.

Sit in a paddy f8ield? But how would I get broadband access? :p
I didn't realise HK was the most dense ... I love visiting it but the crush of humanity is "deafening" for a Kiwi boy ...
What's your favourite place in the world Les?

Hi Pete,
Try Vietnam next, try the opposite to appreciate each one. Yep HK has the most densely populated (people per square kilometer) area in the world, so the stats say. Go and sit in a paddy field, somewhere where the silence is deafening ...
'alone in a crowd' is so true of so much of the world today, but it goes hand in hand with the opposite, 'silence is deafening'......
I love being in a crowd most of the time and hate silence.
Yet other times we want the opposite, almost like 2 personalities.

Thank you to all who served and gave their lives. You chose to fight in a foreign land understood by few - but you chose to fight for a cause familiar to many....FREEDOM!

Thank you brave and valiant Soldiers. Thank you for living, and in many cases dying, without pause or argument. Thank you for having the vision to see the future, the courage to dare to believe in it, and the commitment to give all to it. Thank you from a generation who lives in a freedom purchased by your hands - given so willingly.

Thank you for making a visible deposit into a yet unseen generation. From one family who profits from your investment, you have our sincere gratitude.
